Covid-19: India reports 17,336 new cases, highest in over 100 days

With 17,336 new coronavirus infections being reported in a day, India's total tally of Covid-19 cases rose to 4,33,62,294, according to the Union health ministry data updated on Friday. The death toll climbed to 5,24,954 with 13 fresh fatalities in the last 24 hours. The country's active Covid-19 cases increased to 88,284, according to the health ministry data.
