India reports 2,468 Covid cases and 17 deaths in last 24 hours

India on Wednesday reported 2,468 new Covid cases and 17 deaths. The country's active Covid caseload has declined from from 34,598 to 33,318, according to data updated at 8 am on the ministry of health. This is 0.07 per cent of total cases. The death toll in the country has jumped to 5,28,733.
