Capping a record-shattering performance in the assembly election where the BJP bagged a historic 156 of 182 seats, Bhupendra Patel was sworn in as Gujarat chief minister for the second consecutive term in a grand ceremony attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a galaxy of VVIPs, including several Union ministers, chief ministers of BJP-ruled states and other dignitaries in Gandhinagar on Monday afternoon.
