India reports 116 fresh Covid cases, active caseload rises to 1,867

India has reported 116 fresh Covid-19 cases in 24 hours, while the number of active cases increased to 1,867, according to Union health ministry data updated on Saturday. India's Covid tally thus stands at 4.46 crore (4,46,84,775), the data stated, adding that the current death toll is 5,30,757. The national Covid-19 recovery rate is 98.81 per cent now, according to the ministry website.
