The Tripura government has drawn strong criticism for using the Durbar Hall of the 122-year-old Ujjayanta Palace as the venue for a dinner hosted for G20 meeting delegates earlier this week. The palace was once the seat of the Tripura erstwhile Manikya Dynasty. It was transformed into a museum in 2013.
