Rahul Gandhi's US trip aimed at promoting shared values of real democracy: Sam Pitroda
Monday, 22 May 2023 Gandhi is scheduled to visit San Francisco, Washington DC and New York, where he is planning to address two public meetings with Indian Americans, meet lawmakers at Capitol Hill and members of think tanks, interact with university students and meet Wall Street executives, said Indian Overseas Congress, the organizers of the events, on Sunday.
In the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, with 47 crore female voters, both BJP and Congress vie for their support. Recent controversies, like Supriya Shrinate's criticism of Kangana Ranaut's candidacy and Rahul Gandhi's remarks, highlight Congress's recurring challenges. BJP swiftly holds Congress accountable, putting it on the defensive. PM Modi criticises Congress's stance on women. As BJP capitalizes on this, Congress faces scrutiny over gender equality, exposing systemic issues within the party.
