Centre approves Rs 101 crore package for displaced people Manipur

The Union home ministry has approved a relief package of nearly Rs 102 crore for the people of Manipur displaced by the ethnic violence that broke out early last month. ​​​Home minister Amit Shah had, during his visit to Manipur last week, directed the state government to send a formal request to the Centre for a relief package for people from all communities affected by the violence and forced to relocate to temporary relief camps.
