'Modi washing powder': Bhupesh Baghel's dig as PM targets Chhattisgarh chief minister over corruption charges
Monday, 13 November 2023 () Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the Congress government in Chhattisgarh of corruption, prompting a response from Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel who took a dig at Prime Minister with "Modi washing powder" attack. Modi raised questions about the Mahadev Betting App case and alleged that money was given to Baghel by the app's promoters. Baghel, in response, called for action against other politicians in BJP accused of corruption. Both parties have made promises in their manifestos ahead of the second phase of voting in Chhattisgarh.
