MetLife Hong Kong Wins Corporate Citizenship Award for the Third Consecutive Year

HONG KONG, CHINA - Media OutReach - December 7, 2017 - MetLife Hong Kong * has won the Corporate Citizenship Award in the prestigious BENCHMARK Wealth Management Awards for the third consecutive year, recognizing its continuous contributions to the Hong Kong community. This achievement follows MetLife Hong Kong's recognition as a "Caring Company" by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service.
MetLife Hong Kong won five awards, including the Corporate Citizenship Award at the BENCHMARK Wealth Management Awards 2017.
Mr. Lee Wood, Chief Executive Officer of MetLife Hong Kong, took part in Hong Kong's Fastest Executive Race 2017.

In 2017, MetLife Hong Kong again made significant contributions by promoting literacy. Most recently, Mr. Wood, on behalf of MetLife Hong Kong, took part in Hong Kong's Fastest Executive Race 2017, in support of the Room to Read's Literacy Program . This program empowers children to gain the basic reading and writing skills they need to start their educational journey off right. The funds raised by MetLife Hong Kong in the Fastest Executive Race 2017 will make education possible for nearly 250 children in low-income countries around the world.

Hong Kong's Fastest Executive Race 2017 was held on December 1, 2017, and attracted over thirty business leaders racing against each other on a 13 km route from Pok Fu Lam Reservoir to Admiralty, all in support of Room to Read.
