Microsoft Releases New Windows 11 Build to Dev Channel Insiders
Thursday, 26 January 2023 Microsoft has just released a new Windows 11 preview build to users who are part of the Dev channel in the Windows Insider program. The new build is 25284, and it includes the very first third-party widget – powered by Facebook, it allows users to see their Messenger conversations right from the widgets board. Other than that, the new build is focused nearly entirely on bug fixing and additional polishing, so for instance, it resolves a glitch that caused explorer.exe to crash when using the search box in the taskbar. But at the same time, while the widgets experience is getting a highly anticipated overhaul with the support of third-party widgets, this new build also comes with a series of known issues that are specifically related to this Windows 11 feature.
