Children go missing as Central American migrants clash with Mexican forces
Monday, 20 January 2020 Mexican security forces fired tear gas at rock-hurling Central American migrants who waded across a river into Mexico earlier on Monday, in a chaotic scramble that saw mothers separated from their young children.
Mexican authorities stopped the latest caravan of Central American migrants attempting to head north on Monday. Migrants clashed with Mexico's national guard and hundreds were detained and deported. Libby Hogan reports.
