Air Canada Boeing 767 returns safely to Madrid after engine issue
Monday, 3 February 2020 An Air CanadaBoeing 767 with 128 passengers returned safely to Madrid's Barajas airport on Monday after reporting an engine issue and a burst tire on take-off that forced it to circle for hours to burn fuel before landing.
Prosecutors in Madrid have indicted Italian soccer coach Carlo Ancelotti on suspicion of avoiding 1 million euros ($1.12 million) in taxes due for revenues from image rights while coaching Real Madrid between 2014-15.
Passengers wearing masks and wheeling suitcases arrived at Madrid's main airport on Sunday as Spain opened its borders to most European countries and ended a state of emergency imposed to contain the coronavirus. Emer McCarthy reports.
