In fact, researchers at the University of California San Diego say they were the highest they've been in the history of the ubiquitous search engine. Anxiety and panic attack searches corresponded to major news events, including March 16th and March 29th, 2020.

According to CNN, police raided a crowded nightclub in an effort to enforce coronavirus preventive health regulations. However, clubgoers panicked and attempted to flee. At least 13 people were killed and three others injured in the ensuing stampede. 23 were arrested. Peru was one of the first nations in the Americas to take strict preventative coronavirus measures.

The British government has signed a deal for 60 million doses of potential Covid-19 vaccine. The deal was signed with GlaxoSmithKline and Sanofi Pasteur.
