Legendary actress Olivia de Havilland has died at her home in Paris. She was 104. Elle reports the actress was the last surviving member of the 'Gone with the Wind' cast. De Havilland was also known for playing Maid Marian in The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938), opposite Errol Flynn. She also did an enormous favor for her fellow Hollywood actors, winning a high-profile court case against Warner Bros. in the 1940s.

However, sheis best remembered for her turn as Melanie Wilkes in the 1939 film Gone WithThe Wind.

In Madhya Pradesh's Indore, an idol maker is using cow dung to make Lord Ganesha idols when most artisans are still using POP (Plaster of Paris). Meet Shweta Paliwal, an idol maker who adopted the go-green mantra when it comes to their creations. Where POP made idols take several years to fully dissolve in the water, cow dung idols dissolve quickly. Explaining the benefits of using cow dung, Shweta Paliwal, the artisan told ANI, "For the environment, I am creating cow dung idols of Lord Ganesha. I made 3, 6 and 9 inches idols of Ganesha while using cow dung."

Donald Trump, President of the United States of America, commented on the progress of research to stop the Covid-19 pandemic. Commenting on the race to develop a vaccine, he said that many companies are close to creating a successful one. He also announced a $2 billion deal with Sanofi and GSX for clinical trials and mass production of 10 crore doses of a vaccine. The US military is prepared to carry out distribution of a vaccine once it gets requisite clearance, said Trump. He also said that 'tremendous work' is being done on therapeutics, or non-vaccine treatment. The US government is looking at such methods 'very, very strongly'. The nation's Covid case tally has crossed 45 lakh, the highest in the world, with over 1.52 lakh deaths so far. The pandemic is set to be the biggest issue, apart from alleged discrimination against African-Americans, in the upcoming Presidential polls in the US. Elections are slated to be held in November 2020, although Trump has called for a postponement which was met with stern opposition. Watch the full video for more.
