Muslim mayor blocked from White House Eid celebration
Tuesday, 2 May 2023 The US Secret Service prevented Muslim mayor, Mohamed Khairullah, from attending a White House celebration marking the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. When contacted by the White House, Khairullah was told he had not been cleared for entry by the Secret Service and no explanation was given.
