Revanth Reddy: Indian politician (born 1969)
Anumula Revanth Reddy is an Indian politician who is slated to take oath as Chief Minister of Telangana on 7 December 2023. He is a member of the Indian National Congress, joining the party in 2017 following his defection from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), and will serve as the MLA for Kodangal constituency. Reddy has previously served as a Member of Parliament (MP) from representing the Malkajgiri constituency, a two-time Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) representing Kodangal constituency as a member of the TDP. As President of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee, he led his party to victory in the 2023 Telangana Legislative Assembly election, defeating the incumbent Bharat Rashtra Samithi after 10 years in power.
