Bangalore (Karnataka), May 23 (ANI): While the Congress-Janata Dal (Secular) coalition government is scheduled to take oath on Wednesday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers in Bangalore staged protest against the forthcoming legislature.

Karnataka BJP president and former Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa lead the protest ahead of the swearing-in ceremony of HD Kumaraswamy as the 25th Chief Minister of the state and other elected MLAs.

Terming this coalition has ‘hijack of people’s mandate’ in the state, the protestors are observing this day as the 'anti-people's mandate day' across the state.
