Border Patrol Says NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio Crossed Border Illegally

Border patrol calls out New York Mayor Bill de Blasio for crossing the U.S. Mexico border illegally.

????A letter obtained by the Associated Press says de Blasio violated both Mexican and U.S. immigration law while visiting the Texas border with 20 other mayors on June 21st.

????He was visiting the border and wanted to check out the holding facility for immigrant children separated from their families.

????He was denied entry but went from Mexico into the U.S. to get a better look.????The letter says that a uniformed Border Patrol agent noticed a group taking photos of the facility south of the Tornillo, Texas Port of Entry.

????A New York Police department inspector told the agent that no one authorized their presence there.

????And when asked how they got there, the group pointed to Mexico.

????The agent informed them they had crossed the border illegally asked them to stay there until he -- along with a supervisor -- could take them to official crossing for inspection.

????But the group apparently disregarded the order and drove back to Mexico.????A spokesperson for the Mayor said he was approved to cross the border and any suggestion otherwise is β€œan obvious attempt by someone to attack the Mayor because of his advocacy for families being ripped apart at the border by the Trump Administration."??A spokesman for the Border Protection had no comment.
