Kerala floods: Indian Army distributes relief materials in Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), Aug 18 (ANI): The Indian Army has reached the technical area of the Thiruvananthapuram airport and offloaded relief materials which would be distributed in flood-affected areas in Kerala.

The relief material includes milk powder among other essential commodities.

Rescue operations by the Indian Army, Navy and other teams are underway.

In the wake of the situation, thousands of people have been shifted to relief camps across the state.

The death toll has touched 324 in the state, following incessant floods.
