Ousted Egyptian leader's sons face arrest, again

An Egyptian court has once again ordered the arrest of the two sons of that country's former president, thrown from power in 2011.

Hosni Mubarak is seen with his sons Alaa and Gamal in this file photo.

Alaa and Gamal were accused, along with seven other men in 2012, of manipulating the stock market but have been on bail and ordered not to leave the country.

Authorities say they made illegal profits off shares in Egypt's Al Watany Bank.

They deny all charges.

A Reuters source says the case has now also roped in three sitting and former members of an Egyptian investment bank.

Hosni Mubarak was toppled by a popular uprising that came out of the so-called Arab Spring that swept the mideast and north Africa.

He was in and out of court himself for years, accused of corruption and conspiring to kill hundreds of protesters during the revolt.

Only a three-year sentence for corruption was upheld, which he has finished serving.
