ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION STORY: Dolly Parton and Jennifer Aniston walked the red carpet at the world premiere of "Dumplin'" on Thursday night (December 6).
An adaptation of the novel of the same name, "Dumplin'" is story of the plus-size, teenage daughter of a former beauty queen who signs up for her mom's pageant as a protest that escalates when other contestants follow in her footsteps, revolutionizing the pageant and their small Texas town.
The premiere doubled as a celebration for Parton who learned earlier in the day that she has been nominated for a Golden Globe for the track 'Girl in the Movies' featured on the film's soundtrack.
"Dumplin'" debuts on Netflix, and in select theaters, on December 7, 2018.
