Uproxx reports the Academy Awards have not gone smoothly this year.

Trying to confirm a host and then having none was bad enough.

Best Picture nominee Bohemian Rhapsody has had controversy... ...and to top it off, Academy president John Bailey announced that 4 of the night’s categories won’t even make it to air.

They will instead take place during commercial breaks.

Bailey said they will air the cut presentations online for those who want to see them.
