Pakistan Vows To Act Against Militants Operating On Its Soil As Pressure Grows

According to a report by Reuters, on Monday, Pakistan plans to take action against militant groups operating on its soil, amid global pressure to act after a suicide bomber killed 40 Indian paramilitary police in Kashmir last month.

Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry reportedly denied accusations by India that Pakistan was directly involved in the Feb.

14 attack, which led to a sharp rise in hostilities, stating it “had nothing to do with us”.
