France Increases Security After Deadly Mosque Shootings In New Zealand

According to a report by Reuters, on Friday, French Authorities have stepped up security near religious sites following deadly attacks at two mosques in New Zealand which left 49 people dead.

Interior Minister Christophe Castaner said on his official Twitter account, "Patrols will be held around religious sites." The announcement came after at least one gunman killed 49 people and wounded over 20 others in an attack during Friday prayers in the city of Christchurch, New Zealand.
