As Nebraska Dries Off, Missouri Readies For Massive Flooding
Small towns on the Missouri River are preparing for the next wave of flooding.
High waters have already wreaked an estimated $1 billion in damage in Nebraska.
According to Reuters, officials are warning the deadly disaster is far from over.
The floodwaters were spawned by last week’s late-winter storm and warmer weather that swiftly melted snow.
This week, that snowmelt inundated a large swath of Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa along the Missouri River.
