According to a report by Reuters, on Wednesday, Georgetown University said it plans to expel two students in connection with the sweeping US college admissions bribery scandal.

The expulsions were reportedly announced several hours after one of the students sued Georgetown over his treatment, including its refusal to allow him to transfer to another school to keep his academic credits.
