(SOUNDBITE) (English) ENGLAND CAPTAIN EOIN MORGAN, ON BEN STOKES' PERFORMANCE AND HIS INCREDIBLE CATCH, SAYING: "Yeah, he's had a full day out, and when he did, it's extremely entertaining and it's great for the game.

Because we see a lot of him, in training, do stuff like that all the time and you just shake your head at it because it doesn't happen every day.

And today, his all-around game was on, and that's great for us at the start of a tournament.

It shows that he's right on top of his game." LONDON, ENGLAND, UK (MAY 30, 2019) (ACTION IMAGES VIA REUTERS - ACCESS ALL) 2.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) ENGLAND CAPTAIN EOIN MORGAN, SAYING: "It's a relief to be into the tournament.

I've said, you know, we are going to lose games throughout the tournament.

If it was to happen to be the first one, it didn't really matter.

It is a relief to be off and running.

It's great to get a win.

It's even better to produce a performance like that." LONDON, ENGLAND, UK (MAY 30, 2019) (ACTION IMAGES VIA REUTERS - ACCESS ALL) 4.

STILL OF STOKES CELEBRATING WITH TEAMMATES AFTER INCREDIBLE CATCH FROM ANDILE PHEHLUKWAYO STORY: England cricket captain Eoin Morgan heaped praise on all-rounder Ben Stokes after his magical catch rounded off a solid start for the World Cup host nation on Thursday (May 30) sweeping aside South Africa to win by 104 runs.

It was one of the most spectacular catches ever to grace a World Cup match as Stokes launched himself high into the air near the mid-wicket boundary, reaching up and back to snatch an amazing one-handed catch to dismiss Andile Phehlukwayo off the bowling of Adil Rashid.

Morgan said it was a relief that their campaign has started off with a win, saying the side expect defeats along the way as they try to clinch the world title in July.
