Water Cascades Down Streets of English Town After Month's Worth of Rain Falls in a Day
Heavy rain brought flooding to the English midlands, including the town of Horncastle, in Lincolnshire, on Tuesday, June 11.
According to the BBC, some parts of Lincolnshire experienced as much rain in one day as usually falls in the whole of June.
ITV News reported that the UK Environment Agency issued a flood warning for the River Waring, which runs through Horncastle.
According to the Horncastle News, some roads remained closed in the town on the morning of Thursday, June 13.
