Loper Report: 'Men in Black: International,' 'Late Night'

"wait, are you a queen?"

"inde she is."

"i pledge loyalty eternal to you!"

"no no no i'm not interested."

"too late i alread pledged the loyalty, i wish you'd said no no no before."

That was a clip from "men in black: international", one of the newest movies to hit theaters.

Is it worth seeing?

Here to let us know is our film critic, wil loper you know those little neuralizers they use in the men in black movies to make people forget what they just saw?

Let's just say once this movie ends, you'll be wishing you had one of those to forget this movie ever existed.

Will smith and tommy lee jones are out of the franchise, and tessa thompson and chris hemsworth take over to save the world from aliens.

This time around there's something called the hive which wants a weapon to destroy the planet or the solar system or the universe, or just do something very bad.

Now, thompson and hemsworth give it everything they've got, their charismatic acting is one of the few enjoyable things in this movie.

It's the completely generic and mish mash script that makes this movie a slog to watch.

We're never really made to care about what's going on, and besides a car that has weapons hidden in every part of it, nothing in this movie is clever or inventive.

Skip it, go back to the original men in black.

2 neuralizers out of 5, if only we could flash that and start over.

Next up: "late night" emma thompson is an out of touch late night talk show host whose show is about to be cancelled.

Her writing staff is all white men, so they bring on mindy kaling to give a fresh take and hopefully help save thompson from being replaced.

This was exactly the movie i needed to wash the bad taste of men in black away.

It's laugh out loud funny, it digs at some real truths in the workplace and society, and it's got an emotional punch as well.

And of course it's got terrific acting by emma thompson, mindy kaling, john lithgow, and more.

This movie is definitely worth seeing.

What's your rating?

4 emma thompson's out of 5.

Next week?

"toy story 4"
