Serena Williams and Andy Murray Team up for Mixed Doubles Competition On July 2, the high-profile duo officially confirmed their partnership for the Mixed Doubles Draw at Wimbledon.

Murray and Williams are among 48 teams vying to win the historic tennis competition.

Murray previously teased his potential partnership with Williams at a press conference, saying he was “90 percent sure” he had a partner.

Andy Murray, via Complex Williams also teased their partnership earlier this week, saying, “I’m available.

We just have to wait and see.” She then went on to praise Murray for his athleticism and “work ethic.” Serena Williams, via Complex Their first round of the tournament will be July 4 against Germany’s Andreas Mies and Chile’s Alexa Guarachi.
