The Thunder acquired Chris Paul and two future first-round picks in a trade with the Houston Rockets for Russell Westbrook.

Paul has three years and $124 million remaining on his contract.

Paul previously played in Oklahoma City during the 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons, when New Orleans was relocated due to Hurricane Katrina.

With Paul and a roster that includes Danilo Gallinari, Steven Adams, Dennis Schroder and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the Thunder could have a competitive team in 2019-2020.
