Trump Insists Americans Are Not Paying For Import Taxes Imposed On Chinese Goods

President Donald Trump said things are going well with China.

He said U.S. consumers are not paying for import taxes he imposed on goods from China.

According to Reuters, economists do not agree and say Americans are the ones footing the bill.

Trump then said other countries are asking to negotiate because they don’t want tariffs from the U.S. The president recently added 10 percent tariffs on $300 billion in Chinese imports.
