Mexican Foreign Minister Notes Decrease In Immigration Through Mexico To The US

Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard said there has been a “significant decrease” in U.S.- bound immigration.

He said people from Central America are not going through Mexico as much and he expects the trend to continue.

According to Reuters, Ebrard said his meeting with Vice President Mike Pence was friendly.

He then criticized comments made by the acting director of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, calling it an “unacceptable insult.
