Anger And Jeering Dominate Prime Minister’s Return To Parliament

Following the Supreme Court’s ruling that prorogation was unlawful, MPs flocked back to Parliament for what turned out to be a tumultuous session.

The Prime Minister was quick to call for a general election, while Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said Boris Johnson was “not fit” for office.

Pointing to a commemorative plaque to murdered MP Jo Cox, Labour MP Paula Sherrff criticised Johnson’s use of divisive language, to which he replied “humbug”.
