On Oct 23, the Guinness World Records organization took to Twitter to announce that BTS has broken yet another world record.

[BTS] continue[s] to smash records thanks to their loyal fandom, this time achieving the record title for fastest time to reach one million followers on TikTok …, Guinness World Records, via Twitter.

The K-pop boy band garnered one million followers on TikTok in only three hours and 31 minutes.

According to TikTok, BTS went on to accumulate a total of three million fans in just under three days on the platform.

Their song, “Boy With Luv,” previously broke the record for the most-viewed YouTube video in 24 hours, with 74.6 million views.

In March 2019, BTS also contributed to #TwitterBestFandom becoming the most used hashtag on Twitter in 24 hours
