Matt Hancock defends NHS 111 helpline

Matt Hancock has defended the NHS 111 helpline, which is facing calls for an investigation after poor decision-making was linked to the deaths of more than 20 children.

The health secretary said that the service has "improved the advice that's available to people" and added that the government need to keep refining and improving the service.
