Demand For Medical Face Masks Grow After Coronoavirus Outbreak

After the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak, medical face masks grew in high demand.

Chinese officials urged citizens to wear masks and attempt to stop the spreading of the disease.

According to Business Insider, more than 31,000 people in China were infected and more than 600 killed.

Yet doctors say that wearing the mask isn’t as effective as people think to protect themselves.

Standard surgical masks are designed to block large particles and droplets, not small virus particles.
