A wabash valley woman is sharing her concerns this evening.

Trash trucks travel highway 1-59 frequently to the sycamore ridge landfill.

A resident who lives along the highway says trash is often blowing out of the trucks.

Beth charles says she picks up trash from her yard almost daily.

She wants to see more enforcement to prevent leaky loads.

She says heavy debris along the road is a safety concern for drivers.

"when trucks come up over that hill the wind gets into the truck and pulls out that trash out of the truck, so there must be some sort of issue with tarping or with the landfill not emptying the trucks well enough."

Republic services sent a statement to news 10 today.
