Further emergency laws could be enacted if the Government’s current measures to counter the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) are ignored.

Metropolitan Police Service Commissioner Cressida Dick said: “We will only want to use enforcement if we absolutely have to, but we won’t hesitate if there are people who are flagrantly breaching the law”.
