GameStop Remained Open Longer Than Other 'Non-Essential' Businesses

The coronavirus outbreak causes many “non-essential” businesses and services to temporarily close down.

According to Business Insider, GameStop stayed open longer than most, arguing its stores were “essential.” The company said their stores “enable and enhance our customers’ experience in working from home.” The store later closed and introduced a “delivery at door” service where people can order online and pick up products at the store.

Some employees said the store hasn’t taken the proper safety measure to ensure they don’t get infected.
