Ford Delays Restart Of North American Auto Production

Ford has announced it will delay reopening North American plants at this time.

The auto manufacturer said they are making the decision based on health concerns amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Last week, Ford had said it would resume production at select plants in North America as early as April 6.

The decision to postpone comes days after the deaths of two Ford employees due to the novel coronavirus.

According to Business Insider, Ford has not specified when North American plants would reopen.
