Quebec Struggles With Skyrocketing COVID-19 Cases, Expects Equipment Shortage

Quebec has become Canada's epicenter for the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Reuters, the French-speaking province has more than half of the country's COVID-19 cases.

Quebec on Tuesday reported a 21% jump in cases to 4,162 and 31 deaths.

Nationally, Canada has 7,708 confirmed cases and 89 deaths.

After missing an early opportunity to control the outbreak, officials say they could run out of some equipment in a week.
