Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot Questions National Stockpile Of Medical Supplies

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot asked for stronger presidential leadership through the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Business Insider, she raised questions about the national stockpile of personal protective equipment and ventilators.

Lightfoot said mayors across the country said their medical supplies requests have gone unfulfilled.

Ned Lamont said they told him the national stockpile was “empty.” Yet President Donald Trump said the government still has “almost 10,000 ventilators.”
