Baseball kids share hilarious message about staying home

As many people across the U.S. continue to stay in their homes amid a global health crisis.

Young baseball players around the nation have come together to reiterate the importance of staying at home.

On April 13, Facebook page Baseball Youth shared a hilarious post in which nine players from the Rockland Elite 11U Red baseball team each held a piece of paper with a phrase on it.

When the signs are read together from left to right, the collage of messages reads “Stay home so our moms can start yelling about bad calls again”.

The post immediately went viral, receiving nearly 9,000 shares and approximately 1,000 comments.

“Love this,” one person wrote.

“I so need sports.” “We will be back [before] you know it!” a mother posted in response.

“Save your voice”.

Others decided to share their own versions of the post.

Since the health crisis broke out, baseball leagues have had to temporarily suspend operations.

On March 12, Major League Baseball announced that it had ceased spring training and would delay Opening Day for several weeks.

“MLB will announce the effects on the schedule at an appropriate time and will remain flexible as events warrant, with the hope of resuming normal operations as soon as possible”
