‘Fight Covid or patients?’: Delhi’s LNJP staff allege misconduct at hospital

Medical staff and doctors of Delhi’s LNJP Hospital allege misconduct by patients.

The staff said they were attacked by patients on Thursday.

“Two patients entered the hospital and got extremely close to the doctors and removed their masks,” the staff said.

“The patients threatened to infect us, started abusing us”, one of the doctors said.

LNJP is a Covid dedicated hospital in Delhi.

Medical staff and healthcare workers are being attacked across the nation.

A day earlier, the Centre passed an ordinance to protect healthcare workers.
