Punjab cop, whose hand was chopped off in Patiala, released from hospital

Punjab cop whose hand was chopped off in Patiala was released from the hospital on Thursday.

The cop, whose hand was chopped off allegedly by a group of Nihang Sikhs in April, was admitted to the hospital.

Harjeet Singh’s hand was replanted after a 7.5-hour long surgery at PGIMER.

The cop thanked the hospital staff and Punjab Police for their help.

Singh was also promoted to Sub-Inspector after the incident.
