Indian Air Force (IAF) Apache attack helicopter, at a forward airbase near India-China border, carried out night operations. These attack helicopters are fully loaded with fire-and-forget anti tank guided missiles, air to air missiles, rockets and other ammunitions. Apache helicopters also have modern Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities to provide versatility to the helicopter in a network centric aerial warfare. These aircrafts have been modified specifically to suit the exacting standards demanded by IAF.

The Indian Air Force has significantly enhanced deployment of frontline jets, attack helicopters and transport fleet in its key bases along the Line of Actual Control. The air activities in the Ladakh area and other places along the China border had gone up extensively soon after the Galwan valley clash on June 15 in which 20 Indian Army personnel lost their lives.
Around three men who were arrested in connection with Kanpur encounter case were produced before the District Court in Haryana's Faridabad on July 08. They were arrested after a raid was conducted at a house on receiving inputs of presence of Vikas Dubey, main accused in Kanpur encounter case. Earlier today, a man suspected to be history-sheeter Vikas Dubey was also spotted outside a shop in Faridabad, according to police sources. Vikas Dubey is absconding since Kanpur encounter, where 8 cops were killed. Reward on the head of Vikas Dubey has been increased to Rs 5 lakh.

Devotees gathered at temples across country to offer prayers on the first Monday of 'sawan' month. Locals celebrated the day at Saketri Shiva temple in Panchkula. In Amritsar, devotees thronged Shivala Bhaiyan temple to worship on the special day. The first Monday of sawan month is considered to be a significant festival for the Shiva devotees.

While talking to ANI, DC, MK Ahuja said, "Those who are coming to Panchkula in the search of jobs, they have to register themselves on SARAL Portal and in registration they have to provide details about their skills and then we will find work for them accordingly." The video of this song was released by ITBP constable on his social media accounts. The song focuses on how ITBP has been ahead in capacity building, maintaining supplies of logistics amid lockdown. After Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement to use 'Gamcha' as masks to curb COVID-19, a fashion designer in Panchkula, Neetu Arora started to design and manufactured 'Gamchas' in the time of COVID- 19 outbreak. With the help of Haryana government, this initiative was started one and half month ago.While talking to ANI, Neetu said, "We have delivered these gamchas in Medical, educational and forest department of Haryana and further we are getting more orders. We had planned to open this because the workers needed some source of livelihood. Cost of these gamchas is around Rs. 225 and it is made purely with cotton clothes. Neetu Arora is also designing masks with the matching dress for women.
Shikha Malhotra, actor and a degree holder in nursing from Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital is working as patient counsellor at Mumbai's BMC Hospital. "Being a new face it is always difficult. When country started facing COVID crisis, I thought I should fight and help. I joined COVID ward. I have completed 105 days on July 09," said Shikha Malhotra.
On July 11, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed COVID-19 situation in the country in a meeting attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan, Member of NITI Aayog, Cabinet Secretary and other senior officials of the central government.
