Haryana CM Khattar raises concerns over groundwater levels

The Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar raised concerns over the groundwater situation in the state.

The Chief Minister said, "The ground water level is in 'Dark Zones' and are further decreasing, The ground level water of Haryana's 36 blocks has been decreased twice the number in last 12 years."Haryana CM made this statement while talking about new water conservation scheme.

He urged farmers to adopt crop diversification and sow crops consuming less water like maize, arhar, sesame, guar, moong etc, instead of rice.
