Nearly 4,000 cartons of liquor stolen from sealed godown in Haryana's Panipat

3,926 cartons of liquor have been stolen from a sealed godown in Haryana's Panipat in the span of four years from 2016 to 2020, Excise official Rajesh Rohilla said.

The licensed godown was sealed in 2016 after some liquor cartons went missing, and an FIR was also filed in 2018 when there was theft reported in the godown, Rohilla added.

Police has registered an FIR after Excise Department lodged a complaint of liquor cartons being stolen again.
