Mumbai Covid nightmare: Tracking the new silent spreaders
As India enters the last week of lockdown 3.0, the situation in Maharashtra has emerged as a big challenge for authorities both at the state and the Centre.
There are over 20,000 positive Covid cases in the state so far with over 1,100 cases being reported on Saturday alone.
The Mumbai Municipal Corporation area itself has over 12,000 cases.
Additionally, there is speculation over whether Mumbai has reached the community spread stage.
To answer all these queries on the 'Maha Covid crisis', Maharashtra State epidemiologist Dr Pradip Awate joins Hindustan Times' Sachin Kalbag and Aditi Prasad.
